Fabio and Paolo, the third generation of winegrowers, continue the family tradition with the same passion and enthusiasm as their grandfather.
Le Morette is considered one of the historic wineries of the Lugana DOC appellation, established in the region for over sixty years now.
Fabio personally promotes the wines by traveling in Italy and abroad, but during harvest he is constantly present in the winery with his brother directing the important choices to make at this crucial time of the year
A path through two neighboring, yet so different territories: Lugana and Valpolicella Classico wine regions. A real journey to discover the wines of “Le Morette” and “Corte Volponi” and the philosophy of a family who, due to their experience in the vine nursery business and a deep knowledge of indigenous grapes, decided to expand their estates also in the Valpolicella area, the land of Corvina and red wines.

“To stay in tune with Mother Nature and keep maximum respect for the territory is our first pillar. We learned to keep maximum respect for the territory from our grandfather Gino Zenato, who founded Le Morette in Peschiera del Garda in 1960 .
In our vineyards in Valpolicella we apply sustainable principle too, to guarantee the maximum soil fertility without any chemicals, managing the drip irrigation system and applying alternative pest management practices.”
The Zenato family is a renowned winemaking family from Italy, known for producing high-quality wines with deep roots in the Veneto region. Their legacy is carried forward through two key estates:
The Zenato family blends tradition and innovation, crafting wines that express the unique characteristics of their terroir while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and sustainability. Le Morette focuses on crisp whites, while Corte Volponi adds depth with expressive reds. Together, they tell a compelling story of passion, heritage, and excellence in Italian winemaking. Fabio and his brother Paolo are creating some of the most compelling examples of these native grapes with organic practices, affiliated with World Biodiversity Association.
